A blend of Sciaccarellu and Grenache. Its pink salmon color and its nose are reminiscent of flowers and citrus that mingle with the spicy scents of the Corsican Maquis. On the palate, it combines freshness and nervousness.
The Corsican grape "Sciacarellu" is derived from the adjective "sciaccarellu" which means "crunchy" for a grape variety unique to Corsica. It reigns supreme in the granitic parts of the island.
Pressed cold, the selection of the first juices makes it possible to obtain soft and clear colors. Cold maceration before fermentation followed by stirring ensures fat and complexity. The early bottling restores at best these fresh and delicate aromas.

Once connected to Sardigna and Provence, Corsica is a beautiful island in the south of France. The island enjoys a Mediterranean climate influenced by the presence of the sea and mountains. It is characterized by an exceptional sunshine, 2885 hours a year, the record of France but also precipitation among the highest in France!
LA VILLA ANGELI is located between the sea and mountains in the AOP Corse area of the municipality of Antisanti, in the foothills of the Tavignano valley that dominate the famous Roman site of Aleria, on the eastern coast of Corsica.
30 hectares planted with Niellucciu, Grenache, Sciaccarellu, Cinsault and Vermentinu, allow to elaborate different cuvées in each color according to the planting altitude of the parcels and the geological layers. The hot summer and the clemency of the winters are favorable to the vine.
Today, Guy Mizael, his wife Marie-Françoise and their daughters, Caroline and Sabrina revive this family property with a lot of motivation and ambition. A restructuring of the vineyard was undertaken, pursuing a qualitative objective. 10 years later, these vines give birth to great wines. They are rewarded with many medals and distinctions.
