We created Eiffel Markets in 2013 to import and distribute high quality French wines at affordable prices in Singapore.
We believe it’s possible to find the best value for money if you know what to look for.
We organize private and corporate wine tastings and wine dinners regularly to share our passion, give you an opportunity to try our wines, bond with your colleagues and party with friends.
Our Tasting Room is located at 301 Boon Keng Road, Singapore 339779, which can accommodate comfortably 10 people sitting or 20 people standing up.
Should you be more than 20 people, we would need to change the location and use your office pantry, meeting room, your house or condo facilities to make sure everyone is comfortable.
Should you be more than 50 people, we would be happy to supply wine to your party (Anniversary, Wedding, Diner & Dance, Annual Gala, Product Launch, Gallery opening, Team building event, etc.) but we won’t be able to conduct a wine appreciation. Nobody would be listening, anyway.
Depending on the venue, a pdf presentation would be available as a visual aid, with plenty of infographics, maps of wine regions, history of the wineries, pictures of the vineyards, wine tasting notes, etc.
Our French wine specialist will be there to explain:
- where the wines come from, comparing the different wine regions, soil types and climates; focusing on particular estates, and grapes varieties to explain what is the "Terroir" or sense of place;
- how the wines are made, the impact of different method of cultivation and winemaking;
- how to write your own tasting notes and assess the quality of any wine by answering 3 simple questions;
- how to pair wine with food, choose the appropriate glassware and ensure the right service temperature.
At the end of the day, all participants should have a better understanding of the different wine regions of France, enjoyed the broad diversity of grapes varieties and wine styles, and be able to host their own wine tasting and wine dinner at home with confidence!
Obviously this format is not carved in stone and we can customize the event according to your preferences, budget and requirements.
Feel free to contact us directly to discuss in further details.
